Striving for Success: the Leadership Mentality
Verily, there has come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He is anxious over you, for the believers, full of pity, kind, and merciful. But, if they turn away, say, “Allah is sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped but He, in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.” (Quran 9:128-129)
Striving for Success: Descriptions of Heaven and Hell
Whoever desires a reward in this life of the world, then with Allah (Alone and none else) is the reward of this worldly life and of the Hereafter. And Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer. (Quran 4:134)

Assalamualaikum,
Overall, the conference was very beneficial, masyaAllah. All of the speakers were great and the content of their lectures/workshops were excellent too. I learnt a lot from all of them.
Jazakumullahu khair to all that have put together their time and effort to make the conference such a success. Job well done!
Assalma ‘Alaykum Wa Rahmatuallahi Wa Barakatu,
Leadership Conference rocked!
This was the place to be this past weekend for it was awesome. Topics as well speakers did outstanding job. In talking to those who attended LC–they felt that they wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Jazakumallah Khayr to all those who made it possible.
May Allah The Mighty and Majestic make us of those who strive in this deen and make us of those who are Muslim Leaders.
Wa’ailkuma Salam Wa Rahmatuallahi Wa Barakatu

Assalamualaikum,
Masyaallah the conference was great and one thing I want to touch upon is the wisdom in having many different speakers come, such that this caters to the different levels and types of audiences. I noticed that more people attended the session on Saturday compared to Sunday. However, the good thing is, that the conference gathers these different people who have different things that they seek from the conference, and rather than just having one kind of speaker, we have various kinds.
I really love the workshop on Saturday and the lecture on Sunday, Masyaallah.
the conference was definitely awesome.
i think we need to do another conference focusing on just the topics that were covered on sunday… i definitely wanted to hear more on those topics and felt really bad having to cut sh. omar short, because of time.
One word-FANTASTIC.
JazakumAllah khayr to all who made it possible. I didn’t attend the first LC Conference in 2006, but I’m sure it was probably just as awesome.
Job well done brothers and sisters. I look forward to next year’s conference in shaa Allah.
I second some of the suggestions made above.
P.S. If I had to pick a favourite day, mine would’ve been the lecture on Friday night :D and Sunday too.
Wassalama ‘Alaykum.
Assalamu Alaikum
Alhamdulillah, this was truly an amazing conference and I am glad I attended it. Unlike other conferences where you are just told to go out and implement what you’ve learned and then you are just left to accomplish this task by yourself, subhanallah, this conference actually forced everyone to make a change in their lives! It influenced me, personally, to really begin to think about my intentions, my deen, how to be a better person, and the reward that I will insha’Allah receive if I change positively.
Jazakallah Khair to all the speakers who spent their time and effort to benefit all who attended the conference. Although it seemed like there were not many people who attended this conference, the people who did benefitted immensely from your hard work. Also, a big thank you to the people who organized this. I have had the great opportunity of attending both this year’s and last year’s leadership conferences and I can’t wait to attend next year’s, Insha’Allah. The speakers that have been chosen so far continue to impress me and I have no doubt that next year’s will be the same or better. Keep up the good work!
Walaikum Assalam
Salams.
This conference was really amazing. I benefitted a lot.
I suppose the best thing about it was that it really humbles you- you think you know whats best for you and how all your goals should be accomplished, but, as Ahmed Sidky pointed out, we dont always know the logic or the wisdom behind certain things we do (like listening to our parents).
Another thing, when I came to the conference I thought I was coming purely because I wanted to. Then someone asked, how many of you know someone that you wish was here…(and I raised my hand)… out of all of those people, Allah chose for you to be here.
I was completely blown away.
Jazakallah khair for all the time and effort that was put into making this possible.
