Make things better for people.
“Facilitate things to people, and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away from Islam.” -Prophet Muhammed, as narrated in Sahih Bukhari (3:69)
Make things better for people.
“Facilitate things to people, and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away from Islam.” -Prophet Muhammed, as narrated in Sahih Bukhari (3:69)
Fulfill your obligations absolutely, but know that you are only human.
Whenever you go to bed perform ablution like that for the prayer, lie on your right side and say, “O Allah! I surrender to You and entrust all my affairs to You and depend upon You for Your Blessings both with hope and fear of You. There is no fleeing from You, and there is no place of protection and safety except with You O Allah! I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.” Then if you die on that very night, you will die with faith. Let the aforesaid words be your last utterance. – Prophet Muhammed, as narrated in Sahih Bukhari (4:247)
Know how to protect your property.
Whoever is killed while protecting his property is a martyr. – Prophet Muhammed, as narrated in Sahih Bukhari (43:660)
Be compassionate and purposeful.
Allah did not send any prophet but that he shepherded sheep. – Prophet Muhammed, as narrated in Sahih Bukhari (36:463)
When managing people, and in all communication and interactions, be just and merciful.
O Allah, whoever acquires some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is hard upon them-be hard upon him; and whoever acquires some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is kind to them-be kind to him. – Prophet Muhammed, as narrated in Sahih Muslim (20:4494)
Find your purpose and responsibility to yourself and to the world, and take steps to fulfilling that obligation.
Take heed. Every one of you is a shepherd and every one is answerable with regard to his flock. The Caliph is a shepherd over the people and shall be questioned about his subjects as to how he conducted their affairs. A man is a guardian over the members of his family and shal be questioned about them as to how he looked after their physical, emotional, and moral well-being. A woman is a guardian over the household of her husband and his children and shall be questioned about them as to how she managed the household and brought up the children. A slave is a guardian over the property of his master and shall be questioned about it as to how he safeguarded his trust. Consider this a word of caution, every one of you is a guardian and every one of you shall be questioned with regard to his trust. – Prophet Muhammed, as narrated in Sahih Muslim (20:4496)
